What the Job Looks Like
Working at Omars is unlike any other restaurant job in Greenville. Here's what a typical shift looks like:
- Arrive to work at 9pm — we prep before the rush hits.
- Cook gyros, hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken on a flat cooking surface.
- Operate a commercial fryer to cook cheese sticks, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and fries.
- Work the line fast and clean — orders come in waves, especially after midnight.
- Keep your station stocked, clean, and ready at all times.
- Work as a team — everyone covers everyone at Omars.
Before You Apply — Read This
Omars is a high-output, fast-paced, often loud restaurant. Our clientele is primarily late-night club-goers, and the energy in this building after midnight is unlike anything you've experienced in a typical restaurant setting. Work demand will regularly extend to a 3am close — and on many nights, you will not leave the restaurant until 4am. This is not a slow-night gig. If you're looking for an easy shift, this isn't it. If you thrive under pressure, love the energy of a packed house, and can keep your cool when the orders don't stop — you'll fit right in.
